They say follow your heart
But what if your heart is lost
In a fog around it and can’t see
That love is only dragging it down
So I tried letting my brain lead
It wasn’t much better for
As I learned it too is fogged down
With false hope and love
Chasing something that can never be caught
What am I left to do but lead with my eyes?
But sadly enough my eyes got lost in yours
Running out of choices I lead with my ears
Hearing his voice and sweetness made me unable
To hear the truth and the truth is he was never
Going to be just mine.  I was lost in a world
Only to be lead down every trail to him.
I would travel down new roads
But every door was slammed in my face
Just to have his open wider.  I sit now
Waiting for that other to take my hand
And lead me to his road and away from the past.
But until he comes I remain lost
Off the right path.  Waiting…..  just waiting…….
